Now that your manuscript is done, what’s the next step?

If you haven’t yet done so, please read the aricle on Manuscript Preparation Tips

If you’ve done all this, you’re ready for the next step: submission.

Most agents and publishers start by reading your first 3 chapters or approximately 50 pages.  In this, we are a little different, in that we work directly with a professional agent to review your work.

If your manuscript looks promising but requires additional work, we’ll let you know where to start.  Could it be the next best-seller?  Does it require significant editing?  Is the field already saturated?  Does the book meet our criteria for selection?  Should you simply start over?

From there we’ll work with you to decide the next step.

Is your material well-organized and clearly presented?  What sort of editing does it require?

What is your potential audience?  How will it be marketed to them?

Shall we market your work to a traditional publisher, which means your book will take another 18-24 months to be on the market?

Or do you prefer a speedier process?

One size does not fit all, and our goal is to take your dreams and make them our own.
